“Make exercising fun and the rest will come.”

My passion for fitness goes back as far as I remember. Growing up in Germany, I was inundated in a culture that fosters fitness as a daily part of life. Walking or biking to school, bike trips to neighboring France, hiking in the woods, track & field, competitive handball and ping-pong, are just a few of my fond memories of growing up. So it seems natural for me to make my profession all about health and wellness. After serving in the US Air Force as a Fitness Program Manager, I decided to make my passion my career. Now, with over 17 years of experience, I’ve designed a unique training style and approach to fitness.

In addition to leading group classes and personal training, I’m a freelance writer for fitness journals. Education is my great love and I pursue it as much as I can, which is why it appears that I collect acronyms after my name J I hold both graduate and post-graduate degrees in health sciences and currently teach at the College of Health and Human Services at Trident University International. During my doctoral studies, I specialized in researching the effects of physical activity on menopausal women and to this day, it continues to be the focus of my research and work. I specialize in helping women in mid-life take charge of their own wellness as they transition through menopause. As I mother myself, I know how important fitness is during pregnancy, so I enjoy helping women stay fit and healthy through their pregnancy and after.

Allow my education, expertise, and passion for fitness help you reach your goals. I will give you a fun (yes, I said fun) but challenging workout that will change your perceptions and attitude about exercise, fitness, and health.
